Key Responsibilities
In this dynamic role, you’ll be a key support player across multiple sites. Your week will involve:
- Operating Class 2 vehicles as required to support various project needs.
- Assisting with a wide range of general civil works, offering real variety in your daily tasks.
- Supporting site crews to keep projects running smoothly and efficiently.
- Potentially working around traffic management plans (experience here is a strong advantage).
- Applying a hands-on, can-do attitude to whatever the job requires.
Qualifications
You are the right fit for this role if you have:
- A full, current Class 2 New Zealand Driver’s Licence (essential).
- WTR endorsements or experience operating plant-machinery (highly valued).
- Previous experience within civil construction is preferred.
- Experience with traffic control or management is a strong advantage.
- The ability to provide recent, relevant work references.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Physical fitness for hands-on, outdoor work.
- The ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and have a satisfactory criminal history check.
- The right to work in New Zealand and be in the country at the time of application.
