Key Responsibilities
As a Delivery Driver, you’ll play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction through reliable and secure deliveries.
- Deliver consignments to various customer sites, including major DCs, shopping centres, wholesalers, and businesses.
- Perform local and shuttle duties as required, adapting to changing needs.
- Build strong relationships with customers through professional and friendly service.
- Complete secure deliveries within specified time frames, following all procedures.
- Conduct pre-start checks, ensure load restraint, and maintain vehicle security.
- Maintain accurate records using PDA systems.
- Follow all DHL policies and procedures to uphold safety and quality standards.
Qualifications and Experience
We’re looking for drivers with the appropriate licence, experience, and a commitment to customer service.
Licence Requirements:
- Van Drivers:Â Current driver’s licence and experience with multi-drop deliveries.
- HR Drivers:Â Current HR licence and experience with loads 14 tonne+.
- HC Drivers:Â Current HC licence and experience with heavy vehicle operations.
Essential Requirements:
- Previous experience performing local multi-drop deliveries within Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
- High standard of customer service with a “Can Do” attitude.
- Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to follow DHL policies and procedures.
- Willingness to provide a current full Driving Record.
- Ability to pass a Security Clearance and Pre-Employment Medical.
