Key Responsibilities

You’ll be entrusted with the safe and efficient transport of essential fuel products, a role requiring focus and professionalism.

• Safely operate Multi-Combination vehicles for the transport of dangerous goods (fuel) from terminals in Yarraville and Newport.
• Execute deliveries to various sites across Victoria and Southern NSW, including bulk unloading and service station drops.
• Adhere to a rotating shift roster (AM/PM, some weekends) over a 3-week cycle, with shifts typically starting and finishing in Shepparton.
• Rigorously follow all chain of responsibility, dangerous goods, and fatigue management regulations.
• Complete all required pre-start checks, vehicle maintenance reporting, and delivery documentation with accuracy.
• Represent RFT with a professional demeanour at all customer sites and on the road.

Qualifications

We are looking for licenced professionals who prioritise safety above all.

• A current Multi-Combination (MC) driver’s licence and a valid Dangerous Goods (DG) licence are essential.
• A willingness to obtain or current possession of an SLP (Specific Licenced Premises) accreditation.
• The ability to pass a National Police Check and a pre-employment medical assessment.
• A strong, uncompromising commitment to safety, compliance, and professional driving standards.
• Reliability and flexibility to work a rotating roster that includes weekends and shift work.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude.
