Key Responsibilities

As a Primero Electrician, you will be a key player in the successful delivery of our industrial construction projects. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Performing high-quality industrial electrical installations, including steel conduit work, cable ladder installation, and precise control panel terminations.
• Accurately reading and interpreting electrical drawings, P&IDs, and isometric drawings (ISOs), particularly for heat tracing systems.
• Demonstrating a flexible and adaptable work ethic, including a willingness to work night shifts during planned project shutdowns.
• Maintaining excellent communication with the project team and keeping accurate, clear records of work completed.
• Upholding the highest possible safety standards in every task, contributing to our zero-harm culture.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to bring the following qualifications and experience:

• Essential Trade Credentials: An Australian Certified Trade Certificate and a current WA A Grade Electrical Licence.
• Essential Safety Certifications: A valid CPR-LVR and Provide First Aid certificate (within 12 months), a High Risk Work Licence (WP), and Working at Heights certification.
• Essential Experience: A minimum of 5 years of strong industrial construction experience as an electrician.
• Desirable: Rio Tinduct site inductions are highly regarded.
• Personal Attributes: Excellent safety awareness, strong problem-solving skills, and reliable communication. All candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening.
