Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be operating at the heart of our site activities. Your daily tasks will include:
- Safely and efficiently operating heavy equipment like loaders and rock trucks to transport and place materials.
- Performing essential general labour tasks to support crushing operations, including changing screens, shoveling, and maintaining site cleanliness.
- Conducting thorough pre-operational inspections and assisting with basic routine maintenance on your equipment.
- Communicating clearly and consistently with supervisors and team members to coordinate tasks.
- Adhering strictly to all safety protocols, regulations, and workplace procedures to protect yourself and your colleagues.
Qualifications
We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious individual with the right mix of experience and attitude. The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience operating heavy-duty equipment (loaders, rock trucks) in an industrial, mining, construction, or aggregate setting.
- Excellent teamwork and verbal communication skills.
- The physical capability and willingness to work in a fast-paced, demanding outdoor environment.
- Familiarity with crushing plant operations is a significant advantage.
- A valid Class 1 driver’s licence is a strong asset that will be highly regarded.
