Key Responsibilities
As a Welder at WB Industries, you will be an integral part of our fabrication process, contributing to projects that demand excellence. Your key duties will include:
- Performing high-quality TIG welding, with a focus on aluminum, to fabricate and assemble components according to exact specifications.
- Reading and accurately interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols to ensure precise execution.
- Collaborating effectively with machinists, fabricators, and engineers to ensure seamless project flow from concept to completion.
- Adhering to the highest safety standards in all tasks, following all company and OSHA guidelines to maintain a secure work environment.
- Inspecting your own work for quality, identifying any issues, and ensuring all welds meet our stringent standards for strength and appearance.
- Occasionally utilizing MIG and Stick welding processes as project requirements dictate.
Qualifications
We are looking for a welder who brings both skill and the right attitude to our team. The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven, hands-on experience as a Welder, with specific expertise in TIG welding, especially on aluminum. Experience with MIG and Stick processes is a valuable asset.
- The ability to read and work from blueprints or technical drawings independently and accurately.
- A strong, self-motivated work ethic, an unwavering commitment to workplace safety, and a meticulous eye for detail.
- A positive, collaborative attitude with the ability to work well both independently and as part of a cohesive team.
