Key Responsibilities
Your work will be central to the daily operations and success of our nursery. Key duties will include:
- Performing all aspects of plant cultivation, including digging, weeding, transplanting, potting, and processing live plants and trees.
- Participating in planting projects and invasive species management services.
- Assisting with irrigation setup and maintenance, and general upkeep of nursery grounds.
- Handling tasks such as mixing soil, sorting and rebagging trees, and preparing plants for sale or distribution.
- Using both manual tools and approved chemicals for weed and undergrowth control.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe worksite, including the care and basic maintenance of equipment.
Qualifications
We are looking for reliable individuals who are comfortable with physical, outdoor work. The ideal candidate will have:
- The ability and willingness to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
- A keen attention to detail and a careful approach when handling plants.
- Basic knowledge of or a strong interest in plant care, gardening, or horticulture.
- The ability to follow instructions and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
