Key Responsibilities
As our Field Technician, no two days will be the same. You’ll be trusted to manage your own schedule and deliver exceptional service. Your core duties will include:
- Installing, servicing, and troubleshooting Levno’s agri hardware on farms and commercial sites across the lower North Island.
- Using a range of tools and diagnostic equipment to perform fault-finding and repairs efficiently on-site.
- Providing clear, professional communication with farmers and clients, building strong relationships and acting as a trusted brand ambassador.
- Reviewing customer estimates for work, operating tools safely, and ensuring every job meets our high-quality standards.
- Managing your own time effectively to complete multiple jobs daily, prioritising tasks to deliver excellent service.
- Identifying opportunities to add value for customers and support the wider business.
Qualifications
We are looking for a reliable, self-motivated individual with a great attitude. You will need:
- A strong mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills, with confidence using hand and power tools (full training on our specific products is provided).
- A mature, self-managing work ethic with the ability to work independently, take ownership, and see tasks through to completion.
- A full, clean New Zealand driver’s licence and confidence driving a 4WD vehicle to remote rural locations.
- Excellent customer service skills to build rapport with a diverse range of clients, and clear verbal and written communication.
- Physical fitness and resilience to work outdoors in all conditions, and basic IT skills for reporting and updates.
- A team-oriented, respectful attitude and a genuine desire to be part of a collaborative, high-performing culture.
