Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Petroleum Products:Â Safely load and unload trucks with petroleum products, adhering to all Company and Governmental regulations.
- Operate Trucks Safely:Â Follow Company policies and state/federal laws at all times. Safety isn’t optional.
- Maintain Vehicle Cleanliness and Perform Safety Inspections:Â Keep your truck clean and perform safety inspections on trucks, equipment, and facilities as required by Company policy.
- Perform Daily Service Duties:Â Check oil, water, fuel, tires, and tank-related items on a daily basis to ensure everything is in good working order.
- Complete and Transmit Paperwork:Â Accurately complete and transmit all paperwork in compliance with established Company procedures.
- Communicate with Dispatchers:Â Coordinate with dispatchers daily to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries.
Requirements
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL:Â Required, with a clean MVR.
- Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements:Â REQUIRED.
- TWIC Card:Â REQUIRED.
- Prior Fuel Truck Driver Experience:Â PREFERRED.
- DOT Drug Screen:Â Must successfully pass pre-employment DOT-regulated drug screen.
- DOT Physical:Â Must meet and maintain DOT and FMCSA physical and medical requirements.
- Quarterly Random Drug Screens:Â Subject to random drug screens per FMCSA-DOT regulations.
- Customer Service Demeanor:Â Excellent customer service skills are essential you’re representing the company at every stop.
- Weekend Availability:Â Must be available to work weekends if necessary.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive Wage:Â Based on experience and geographic location.
- Quarterly Safety Bonuses:Â Eligible for 4 safety bonuses per year, paid out quarterly after 120 days of employment.
- Monthly Performance Bonus:Â Eligible for monthly bonus based on gallons delivered after 120 days of employment.
