Key Responsibilities
- Wipe down surfaces throughout the facility including countertops, fixtures, glass, mirrors, windows, and furniture to maintain a spotless appearance.
- Remove trash from all areas, ensuring waste is disposed of properly and receptacles are clean.
- Replenish towels, soaps, and toilet paper rolls in restrooms and other designated areas, keeping supplies stocked for occupants.
- Sweep, wet mop, and vacuum floors to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
- Be a valuable extra set of eyes for the facility report necessary repairs, replacements, leaks, and drips as you notice them during your rounds.
- Follow 4M’s state-of-the-art cleaning and disinfecting practices using green-sealed certified supplies and equipment.
- Comply with all social distancing requirements and safety guidelines as outlined by the company and clients.
- Wear provided 4M apparel and personal protective equipment when necessary in accordance with position and OSHA requirements.
- Represent 4M professionally and courteously while working onsite, being the friendly face clients and occupants see each day.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must be at least 18 years of age. Some janitorial experience is required, though 4M will train you in their best practices and standards. A successful drug screening and background check are conditions of employment. You must have reliable transportation to get to the Union, Missouri location each day. The role requires the ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift. A courteous, reliable, and resourceful attitude is essential you will be representing 4M every day. Attention to detail matters here; the little things add up to a clean building. This role offers competitive pay with an estimated annual salary range of $30,000 to $37,000 for those working toward full-time hours. Daily pay is available for all team members, giving you access to your earnings when you need them.
