Key Responsibilities
As a House Person, you will wear several hats to support our resort’s operations and guest satisfaction. Your key duties will include:
- Safely operating the laundry truck to transport clean linens to our three resort buildings and deliver soiled linens to the laundry facility.
- Maintaining the impeccable appearance of all guest floor corridors, foyers, stairwells, and public vending areas through regular cleaning and detailing.
- Stocking housekeeping carts and linen closets with all necessary amenities and supplies to ensure our Room Attendants have what they need.
- Providing crucial support to the housekeeping team by promptly removing trash and soiled linens from corridors and carts, especially during busy periods.
- Assisting with deep cleaning projects and preventative maintenance tasks within guest rooms as directed.
- Engaging with guests in a friendly and helpful manner, promptly addressing any requests to ensure their stay is comfortable and enjoyable.
Qualifications
To be successful in this active role, you should possess:
- A valid driver’s license is an absolute requirement for this position.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification is required.
- The physical capability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull loads up to 50 lbs, and to bend, stoop, and work with arms extended overhead for extended periods.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- A reliable, team-oriented attitude and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced resort environment.
