Key Responsibilities
As a Laundry Attendant, you will be a key supporter of our hotel operations, ensuring a steady supply of quality linens. Your daily duties will include:
- Collecting, sorting, and transporting laundry at the beginning of each shift to keep the workflow organized and efficient.
- Operating commercial washers and dryers, then promptly removing, folding, and stocking all clean linens to prevent wrinkles.
- Processing a variety of items including bed sheets, blankets, duvets, towels, face cloths, and restaurant table linens.
- Restocking the linen supply rooms for housekeeping, ensuring teams have what they need for the next day.
- Performing small mending repairs on linens as needed to extend their lifespan and maintain quality.
- Maintaining a clean and orderly laundry workspace and following all safety procedures.
Qualifications
We are looking for team members with a great attitude and a strong work ethic. The ideal candidate will have:
- A positive, team-oriented attitude and a strong dedication to providing great service.
- The physical mobility and stamina required for the role, including the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and engage in regular walking, standing, and bending.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure all linens meet our quality standards.
- Good communication and organizational skills are valuable assets.
- While 1-2 years of experience is preferred, it is not required—we provide full training for motivated individuals.
- You must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
