Your Role as a Production Lead

In this key position on third shift, you will be responsible for the efficient and quality-driven output of your production line. Your core duties will include:

  • Operating and overseeing corrugated printing and production equipment to maintain a steady workflow and meet production targets.
  • Conducting meticulous quality checks on finished boxes, verifying precise dimensions and ensuring zero material defects before product moves forward.
  • Leading your machine crew through complex setups, changeovers, and daily operational tasks.
  • Proactively troubleshooting mechanical issues and solving problems to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
  • Ensuring strict adherence to all company safety protocols and promoting a culture of safety within your crew.
  • Completing accurate and timely production reports, including data on output, downtime, and quality metrics.
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work area.

Basic Qualifications We Require:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • A proven strong safety background and a reliable attendance record.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and lead by example.
  • Willingness and ability to work third shift, including required overtime and weekends.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to be a clear, effective communicator.

Preferred Skills That Set You Apart:

  • Previous hands-on experience operating corrugated printing or finishing equipment.
  • Experience in a packaging or other manufacturing environment, with an understanding of variable conditions like temperature and production volume.

Physical and Environmental Note:

  • This role requires the ability to work in a manufacturing setting where temperatures and work volumes can vary.
