Key Responsibilities

In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the core components that keep our production line moving. Your essential duties will include:

  • Performing detailed cleaning of production molds as scheduled and directed by Maintenance Technicians.
  • Safely operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other mobile equipment to transport molds and materials.
  • Conducting minor repairs and preventative maintenance on molds and carriers to ensure optimal performance.
  • Accurately documenting all cleaning and maintenance activities using provided check sheets and logs.
  • Strictly adhering to all safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Supporting the maintenance team with scheduled weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance (PM) tasks.
  • Managing mold release chemicals and maintaining temperature control unit (TCU) coolant systems.
  • Upholding excellent housekeeping and 5S standards to ensure a safe, clean, and organized work area.

Qualifications

We are looking for team members with a solid work ethic and the following capabilities:

  • A proven ability to understand and follow both written and verbal instructions carefully.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with supervisors, co-workers, and cross-functional departments.
  • The physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift between 40 to 65 pounds occasionally, and climb ladders or over obstacles.
  • A willing and flexible attitude to work as part of a team and adapt to various job assignments as needed.
  • The ability to pass a written and practical forklift driving certification (training and testing provided).
  • A steadfast commitment to workplace safety and attention to detail.
