Key Responsibilities
As a Maintenance Technician Assistant for Kitchen Equipment, you will provide vital support to our skilled technicians. Your primary duties will include:
- Assisting lead technicians and specialists with the repair, maintenance, and preventative servicing of commercial kitchen equipment across district schools (e.g., ovens, dishwashers, warmers, mixers, etc.).
- Learning to diagnose basic issues and perform routine tasks under supervision.
- Safely transporting tools, parts, and equipment to various school sites using a district vehicle.
- Assisting with inventory management of parts and supplies for the kitchen equipment maintenance team.
- Performing general helper duties such as cleaning work areas, organizing tools, and preparing job sites for technicians.

Qualifications

- A valid Alabama driver’s license and a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) are required.
