Key Responsibilities
You will be involved in the entire linen process, from arrival to dispatch, ensuring quality at every stage.
- Receive, sort, and record incoming soiled linen from our hospitality clients.
- Safely operate and monitor industrial washing, drying, and folding machinery, selecting the correct cycles for different fabrics.
- Inspect linen throughout the process for quality, ensuring any damaged items are removed and high standards are consistently met.
- Accurately fold, package, label, and prepare clean linen orders for delivery.
- Assist with loading/unloading delivery vehicles and maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area, following all health and safety procedures.
Qualifications
We are looking for a team player who is physically fit and takes pride in their work.
- A reliable, hardworking attitude and the ability to work efficiently in a time-sensitive environment.
- Good attention to detail and a strong commitment to maintaining quality standards.
- Physical fitness to perform the role, including the ability to stand for long periods and safely handle heavy loads of linen.
- A positive, team-oriented mindset and a willingness to learn. No prior experience is necessary full training will be provided.
- Eligibility to work in New Zealand.
