Key Responsibilities
Sales and Customer Service:
- Proactively sell industrial gases, welding supplies, and related equipment to existing and prospective customers.
- Provide accurate information, product guidance, and professional customer support.
- Prepare and process all sales-related paperwork, including quotes and order documentation.
- Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing showroom displays.
- Support day-to-day store operation, including opening and closing procedures as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure excellent customer experiences and efficient store operations.
Warehouse and Operations:
- Load and unload cylinders and hardgoods for customers and delivery trucks.
- Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment as required.
- Assist with inventory management, stocking, and general housekeeping.
- Manage delivery logistics for cylinders and hardgoods.
Cylinder Filling and Inspection (if applicable at this location):
- Fill cryogenic liquids and pure non-flammable industrial gases according to Fill Plant SOPs.
- Set and monitor pressure gauges to ensure proper filling levels.
- Weigh cylinders to verify correct fill weight.
- Vent and adjust cylinders to achieve prescribed pressure and weight.
- Inspect empty cylinders, checking for dents, cracks, burns, or other defects.
- Determine whether cylinders must be quarantined for further inspection.
- Move cylinders manually or with material-handling equipment.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in sales, customer service, or warehouse operations preferred.
- Ability to operate forklifts and material-handling equipment (training may be provided).
- Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures.
- Physical capability to load, unload, and move cylinders and materials.
- Willingness to learn about industrial gases, welding supplies, and equipment.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
