Key Responsibilities
- General Office Duties:Â Perform general office tasks including filing, data entry, report preparation, photocopying, faxing, and emailing to support daily operations.
- Sales Support:Â Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients, contributing to revenue growth.
- Business Development:Â Pursue new business opportunities through aggressive cold calling efforts, expanding the customer base.
- Client Relationships:Â Establish and maintain strong relationships with both current and potential clients, ensuring long term partnerships.
- Order Processing:Â Accurately process customer transactions including orders and quotations, ensuring timely and correct fulfillment.
- Account Management:Â Service existing accounts and establish new ones by planning and organizing daily work schedules to call on customers.
- Reporting:Â Generate reports, spreadsheets, price lists, and product offerings to support sales and accounting channels.
- Customer Service:Â Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, and preparing reports as needed.
- Sales Activities:Â Develop and implement special sales activities to increase revenue and market presence.
- Project Support:Â Take charge of special projects as assigned, contributing to team goals and company objectives.
- Marketing Participation:Â Participate in marketing events such as vendor shows and AAPEX shows to promote products and build industry connections.
- Payment Follow Up:Â Assist with collection of payments as needed, supporting the accounting function.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Fluent in spoken English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent telephone and customer service skills.
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills, including the ability to quickly assess needs and respond with limited direction.
- Strong team building and client service skills with demonstrated problem solving capability.
- Detail oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Advanced proficiency in all MS Office applications.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Aggressive and motivated approach to sales and business development.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.
- Willingness to travel locally and occasionally overnight for business needs.
