Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for all hotel communications, handling telephone calls, faxes, and messages with warmth and efficiency.
- Welcome guests by phone, providing information about hotel facilities, local attractions, and services to enhance their stay.
- Promote Hilton Honors and its benefits, ensuring members receive the recognition and service they deserve.
- Manage guest requests and complaints promptly, following up to ensure complete satisfaction and documenting service recovery.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, engineering, and food and beverage teams to ensure seamless delivery of guest services, including in‑room dining and maintenance requests.
- Maintain accurate guest histories to personalize future interactions and anticipate needs.
- Stay informed about daily hotel operations, events, and promotions to provide knowledgeable assistance.
- Handle all communications with discretion, ensuring guest privacy and confidentiality at all times.
- Support the team during peak periods, assisting with front desk or other tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- A minimum of two years of experience in a similar role within a five‑star international hotel or a comparable service environment.
- Fluent spoken and written Japanese is essential; basic English proficiency is required to meet business needs.
- A warm, empathetic communication style with a strong customer service focus.
- The ability to remain calm and effective under pressure, handling multiple tasks with poise.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with a proactive approach to problem solving.
- Proficiency with computer systems; experience with property management systems such as OnQ is an advantage.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as part of a 24‑hour operation.
