Key Responsibilities

You’ll be at the heart of transforming spaces, with your core duties including:

  • Preparing surfaces meticulously through scraping, sanding, filling, and priming to create the ideal base.
  • Mixing and matching paints to achieve precise colour consistency and meet specific project requirements.
  • Applying paints, varnishes, and specialised finishes to interiors and exteriors using brush, roller, or spray techniques.
  • Installing wallpaper and applying decorative finishes for clients seeking a bespoke look.
  • Ensuring every project meets our high standard for smooth, clean, and durable finishes.
  • Collaborating effectively with other trades on-site to ensure seamless project progression.
  • Strictly adhering to all site safety protocols and maintaining an organised, hazard-free work area.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, you’ll need:

  • A solid foundation of at least 3 years of professional painting experience.
  • Proven skill in both interior and exterior painting across various project types.
  • Proficiency with all standard painting tools and equipment, including spray systems.
  • An exceptional eye for detail and a personal commitment to quality craftsmanship.
  • The ability to work productively on your own or as a collaborative team member.
  • A full driver’s licence and reliable transport to get to sites across Queenstown.
