Key Responsibilities
You’ll be at the heart of transforming spaces, with your core duties including:
- Preparing surfaces meticulously through scraping, sanding, filling, and priming to create the ideal base.
- Mixing and matching paints to achieve precise colour consistency and meet specific project requirements.
- Applying paints, varnishes, and specialised finishes to interiors and exteriors using brush, roller, or spray techniques.
- Installing wallpaper and applying decorative finishes for clients seeking a bespoke look.
- Ensuring every project meets our high standard for smooth, clean, and durable finishes.
- Collaborating effectively with other trades on-site to ensure seamless project progression.
- Strictly adhering to all site safety protocols and maintaining an organised, hazard-free work area.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, you’ll need:
- A solid foundation of at least 3 years of professional painting experience.
- Proven skill in both interior and exterior painting across various project types.
- Proficiency with all standard painting tools and equipment, including spray systems.
- An exceptional eye for detail and a personal commitment to quality craftsmanship.
- The ability to work productively on your own or as a collaborative team member.
- A full driver’s licence and reliable transport to get to sites across Queenstown.
