Key Responsibilities

In this client-focused, autonomous role, you will be responsible for the upkeep and care of our clients’ swimming pools. Your key duties will include:

  • Travelling to client properties to perform regular pool cleaning, vacuuming, and chemical balancing to ensure water quality and safety.
  • Operating, troubleshooting, and performing basic maintenance on pool equipment, including pumps, filters, and valves.
  • Using provided technology, including an iPad and Spin Disc water testing unit, to test water, log job details accurately, and update client records via our dedicated apps.
  • Providing friendly, professional service to clients, answering questions, and offering basic advice on pool care.
  • Managing your own daily schedule efficiently to complete all assigned jobs to a high standard.
  • Identifying and reporting any major equipment issues or required repairs to the service team.

Qualifications

We are looking for a reliable and skilled professional with the following:

  • Practical knowledge and experience in pool maintenance, valeting, or servicing.
  • An understanding of pool water chemistry, vacuuming techniques, and the operation of pumps and filters.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Basic computer literacy and comfort using mobile apps and technology.
  • A current, full New Zealand driver’s licence.
  • A professional presentation, a positive ‘can-do’ attitude, and the ability to work autonomously.
  • The legal right to work in New Zealand (residency or a valid work visa).

Previous experience in pool equipment servicing is highly regarded and will be reflected in the offered rate.
