Key Responsibilities
As a vital member of our night shift production team, you will be responsible for:
- Operating and monitoring snack food processing and packaging machinery efficiently and safely to meet production goals.
- Applying correct manual handling techniques and adhering to all safety procedures without compromise.
- Ensuring strict compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and food safety regulations and standards.
- Working collaboratively as part of a high-performing team to achieve production and food safety targets.
- Conducting basic troubleshooting and maintaining excellent housekeeping standards in your work area.
Qualifications
We are looking for individuals who combine practical skill with a great attitude. The ideal candidate will possess:
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably within FMCG or food manufacturing.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
- A demonstrated history of excellent attendance, punctuality, and reliability.
- An outstanding work ethic and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A genuine interest in developing a long-term career in food manufacturing.
- A solid understanding and commitment to workplace health and safety best practices.
- Full-time legal work rights in New Zealand.
