Key Responsibilities

 Qualifications

The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation of experience and expertise:

  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required; further education in business, supply chain, or a related field is an asset.
  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in purchasing, with a specialization in the aviation sector being essential.
  • Proven expertise in negotiating with suppliers and managing complex procurement projects.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be authorized to work in Canada and meet the language requirements of the role.
  • A valid driver’s licence and access to own transportation are required, though public transit is available. A clear criminal record check is mandatory.
