Key Responsibilities
For Chefs- Cooks and Apprentices:
- Preparing and cooking a range of popular pub meals to a high standard, consistently and efficiently.
- Helping to maintain a clean, organised, and safe kitchen environment, following all food safety standards.
- Working collaboratively with the kitchen team during busy services to ensure smooth operations and timely food delivery.
- Assisting with food prep, stock rotation, and basic kitchen duties.
- Bringing a positive, can-do energy to every shift.
For Bar Staff:
- Providing friendly, prompt table service and efficient service at the bar.
- Preparing and serving beverages, including beers, wines, and basic cocktails.
- Processing transactions and maintaining a clean, well-stocked bar and dining area.
- Engaging with patrons to create a welcoming, enjoyable pub atmosphere.
- Adhering to all RSA regulations and responsible service of alcohol protocols.
Qualifications
For Chefs-Cooks:
- Any previous commercial cooking experience is required. A formal qualification is a bonus, but a stellar attitude and willingness to learn are paramount.
- Reliability, energy, and a genuine love for creating great food in a team environment.
- For the right candidate with a strong work ethic, we are excited to discuss a potential apprenticeship pathway.
For Bar Staff:
- A current, valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate is mandatory before starting.
- Previous bar or hospitality experience is advantageous, but we value a fantastic personality and eagerness to learn.
- Excellent customer service skills, the ability to multitask, and a friendly, professional demeanour.
For All Roles:
- You must be reliable, punctual, and ready to contribute to our positive, hard-working team culture.
