Key Responsibilities

In this varied role, no two days are the same. You’ll be essential to branch operations, with duties including:

  • Providing outstanding customer service and expert product information to trade customers both in person and over the phone.
  • Preparing accurate quotes, processing sales, and assisting with customer enquiries.
  • Picking and packing orders, managing stock control, and maintaining tidy, well-presented shop floor displays.
  • Making local deliveries to customers using a company vehicle.
  • Helping to maintain a safe, clean, and organised branch environment for both staff and customers.
  • Learning and using our in-house computer systems to manage orders and inventory.

Qualifications

We are looking for a reliable and proactive individual who brings the following:

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role such as retail, sales, delivery driving, or trade counter service.
  • Excellent communication skills and a genuine enjoyment in helping people.
  • A keen eye for detail and accuracy when handling orders and stock.
  • Basic computer literacy and a willingness to learn new systems.
  • A current, clean driver’s licence.
  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster that includes weekend shifts.
  • The energy and positivity to thrive in a high-paced, physically active environment.
