Key Responsibilities

Your role is critical to our operational success. Each shift, you will:

  • Actively monitor live CCTV feeds, identifying and responding to security breaches, alarms, and unauthorized activities with precision.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and field colleagues via radio, phone, and log systems to coordinate responses to incidents.
  • Perform technical tasks including camera configuration, setting up alert zones and alarm schedules, and troubleshooting offline equipment.
  • Generate accurate reports from systems like number plate recognition and maintain detailed logs of all activities and incidents.
  • Utilize computerized access control systems and follow strict protocols to ensure only authorized personnel access client sites.

Qualifications

To excel in this fast-paced environment, you will need:

Essential Requirements:

  • A current Australian 1E Security Licence.
  • A minimum of 12 months of hands-on experience in a Control Room or Security Operations Centre environment.
  • Full working rights in Australia and the ability to pass a criminal history check prior to starting.
  • Proven ability to work a 24/7 rotating roster across three daily shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to implement solutions calmly under pressure.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a confident and professional phone manner.

The Ideal Candidate Will Also Be:

  • Tech-savvy, with proficiency in MS Office and the confidence to quickly learn new software and systems.
  • A team player with high attention to detail and the ability to follow client and management directives accurately.
  • Skilled in effective conflict management, maintaining focus during long monitoring periods.
