Key Responsibilities

You will play a vital role in the daily upkeep of the facility. Key duties for this position include:

Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting furniture, fixtures, and equipment; cleaning floors, ceilings, and walls; and thoroughly servicing restrooms.
Clean interior glass, windows, mirrors, and partitions using appropriate cleaners and tools like squeegees and sponges.
Gather and empty all trash and recycling containers throughout your assigned area.
Move light furniture, cabinets, boxes, and equipment as needed for cleaning, using hand trucks when necessary.
Wash and replace blinds, and wipe down tabletops and chairs in cafeteria or food service areas.
Perform seasonal tasks such as sweeping walkways, light snow removal, or raking leaves as incidental duties.
Follow all safety procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage and ensure personal safety.
Notify your manager promptly about any need for repairs or issues with building operating systems you observe.
Maintain professional and effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, and school staff.

Qualifications

We are looking for dependable individuals who take pride in their work. The requirements are straightforward:

Must be 18 years of age or older.
No high school diploma, GED, or previous work experience is required to apply.
Must be able to work the assigned schedule reliably.
A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines are essential.
Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
