Key Responsibilities

In this hands-on, critical role, you will be entrusted with maintaining the heartbeat of our facilities. Your key duties will involve:

  • Ensuring the efficient, reliable, and safe operation of critical utility equipment, including chillers, cooling towers, cold rooms, and air compressors to seamlessly support 24-7 production activities.
  • Performing skilled troubleshooting and root cause analysis on equipment failures, implementing immediate corrective actions and long-term solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Adhering to stringent safety protocols in every task and maintaining all facilities to the highest standards of condition and compliance.
  • Providing timely response to equipment alarms and executing scheduled calibration of instrumentation, such as temperature and humidity sensors.
  • Offering clear, regular communication on equipment status to operations and maintenance stakeholders to ensure aligned priorities.
  • Carrying forward work from previous shifts and being available for on-call standby duties after office hours, including weekends and public holidays, for emergency repairs.

Qualifications

We are looking for a proactive problem-solver who combines technical skill with a strong safety mindset.

What You Must Have:

  • A NITEC, Higher NITEC, or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Between 3 to 5 years of solid, hands-on working experience in utilities, facilities, or the electrical/instrumentation field within the Petrochemical, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Oil & Gas, or a related high-compliance industry.
  • Demonstrated ability in basic technical report writing and documentation.
  • A steadfast commitment to applying safety requirements in all aspects of daily work.

What Will Give You an Advantage:

  • Possession of a valid EMA Electrician’s License.
  • Working knowledge of cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) and good documentation practices, which are central to our pharmaceutical operations.
