Key Responsibilities
As a Service Technician, you will be a key mobile ambassador for our brand. Your primary duties include:
- Performing planned preventative maintenance, repairs, and servicing on a wide range of industrial doors and entrance systems across Auckland.
- Completing thorough safety checks and ensuring all work meets national standards and local compliance requirements.
- Acting as the face of ASSA ABLOY, building strong customer relationships by advising on maintenance needs and potential upgrades.
- Troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues efficiently on-site to minimise customer downtime.
- Working closely with internal sales and technical support teams to provide seamless service.
Qualifications
We are looking for a practical problem-solver with the right attitude and skills. You will need:
- A keen technical aptitude and interest in working with hydraulics, mechanics, and electronics.
- Proven mechanical and electrical competence, with a strong safety and customer-service mindset.
- Flexibility, reliability, and comfort working in varied environments, from distribution centres to retail loading bays.
- Licences and comfort for working at heights, including experience with EWP (Elevating Work Platform) and Forklift operation.
- Excellent communication skills and an approachable, professional demeanour.
