Harris Golf Cars is looking for a full-time technician to join our team, performing diagnostics, repairs, and custom installations on golf cars. What You Will Be Doing
- You will perform diagnostics and mechanical services on golf cars, identifying issues and completing repairs efficiently.
- You will work on combustible engines, troubleshooting performance problems and making necessary adjustments or replacements.
- You will diagnose and repair electrical issues, from basic wiring to more complex system failures.
- You will install accessories, lights, and specialty custom items to meet customer requests.
- You will tear down, assemble, rebuild, and refurbish golf cars, bringing older units back to life.
- You will drive a company-provided truck and trailer as needed for pickups and deliveries.
- You will follow work orders provided daily by the Service Manager, completing each job accurately and on time.
- You will maintain cleanliness and safety in your workspace and with all equipment.
What We Are Looking For
- You have a high school diploma or GED.
- You hold a valid driver’s license with a suitable driving history.
- You provide your own tools and take care of them.
- You have experience and knowledge in automotive or small engine repair.
- You are comfortable with the physical demands of the job, including frequent use of your hands, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, standing, walking, and lifting up to 85 pounds.
- You have a positive attitude and work well as part of a team.
- You are reliable, show up on time, and take pride in your work.
What You Will Gain
You will earn between $20.00 and $25.00 per hour based on your experience. On top of that, we offer a $500 bonus at 6 months and another $500 bonus at 1 year (less taxes) as a thank you for sticking with us and doing great work.
