Company Overview

We are a Waikato-based recruitment and labour hire specialist with deep connections across the region’s civil, construction, and logistics sectors. We don’t just fill shifts. We match hardworking, motivated people with the right crews—crews that value quality work, good banter, and looking out for each other.

Our client partners include some of the Waikato’s most respected contractors, working on projects ranging from roading and drainage to commercial builds and industrial logistics . This means consistent hours, competitive pay, and genuine variety. One week you might be prepping a new subdivision site. The next, you’re supporting a team of machine operators on a major infrastructure upgrade.

We believe in graft equals growth. Prove yourself reliable, and we will keep you working, keep you trained, and keep you progressing.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will vary depending on the site and crew you are placed with, but here is what you can expect across the board.

  • Site prep and clean-up. Keep the job site looking sharp. That means sweeping, sorting materials, packing down at the end of the day—whatever it takes to keep the crew moving.
  • Using tools and gear properly. Hammers, shovels, cutters, compactors. You don’t need to be a master tradesman, but you should know which end does the work.
  • Backing up tradies and machine operators. Be where you are needed, when you are needed. Spot for the excavator. Pass tools before they ask. Learn what comes next.
  • No cowboy stunts. No shortcuts. We take site safety seriously, and you need to as well.
  • Some tasks are all yours. Others are full-team efforts. You need to be comfortable with both.

Qualifications

Here is what we need from you. No surprises, no fine print.

Non-negotiable:

  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test. This is non-negotiable across all our client sites .
  • Reliable transport and the right to work in New Zealand. You need to get yourself to site, on time, every day.
  • A good attitude. Coachable, reliable, and keen to learn. If you have that, we can teach the rest.
  • Physical fitness. This is hands-on, outdoor work. You need to be comfortable lifting, bending, and staying active for full shifts.

Highly desirable:

  • Full Class 1 licence. Not essential, but it opens up more roles and more hours .
  • WTR endorsements. Even better. If you have Wheels, Tracks, Rollers, tell us .
  •  SiteSafe ticket. Gets you a head start and shows you understand site safety protocols .

Experience is welcome but not required. We have placed candidates with years of experience and candidates fresh off their first site induction. Attitude is the deciding factor.

Benefits and Perks

We believe in rewarding effort. Here is what you get when you work with us.

  • Weekly pay that stacks up. Competitive hourly rates based on your experience and the role. Skilled labourers in the Waikato are currently attracting $25–$35 per hour depending on tickets and tenure . We pay weekly, no chasing invoices.
  • Full PPE and kit provided. You bring the hustle, we bring the gear. High-vis, boots, helmets, gloves whatever the site requires .
  • Training and development. Want to upskill? We can point you toward SiteSafe, WTR endorsements, or specific machinery tickets. We invest in people who invest in themselves .
  • Variety and stability. No two days on the road look the same. But the hours stay consistent, and the work keeps coming .
  • A work environment where graft = growth. Prove yourself reliable and we will keep you front of mind for the best roles, the best crews, and the best rates.
