Key Responsibilities
Your work directly impacts the well-being of others. In this role, you will be trusted to:
- Provide thorough cleaning services across all hospital departments, wards, and public areas, maintaining the highest standards of hygiene.
- Safely handle cleaning chemicals and follow precise procedures for decontaminating surfaces.
- Identify and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to ensure a secure environment for all.
- Work collaboratively with clinical staff, supporting a team-focused approach to hospital operations.
- Consistently follow the scheduled shift of Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, ensuring reliability for the team.
Qualifications
We are looking for reliable and caring individuals who meet the following criteria:
- Availability to work within a 24/7 rotating roster if required in the future.
- Must hold a valid Working with Children Check and be able to provide a clear Police Check.
- Evidence of required immunisations is essential for this healthcare environment.
- A positive, customer-focused attitude and a genuine interest in contributing to patient care.
- While previous hospital cleaning experience is a strong advantage, we value a great attitude and are willing to train the right person.
