Huntleigh USA Corporation is seeking a Vehicle Maintenance and Utility Cleaner to join our team in Las Vegas. This role is ideal for someone who’s comfortable working with vehicles, has a basic understanding of mechanics, and takes pride in keeping things clean and organized. You’ll split your time between light maintenance tasks on our fleet and custodial duties around the office—so if you like variety and don’t mind getting your hands dirty, this could be a great fit. What You’ll Be Doing
Vehicle Maintenance and Fleet Support:
- Assist the Operations Manager with daily fleet operations.
- Perform light mechanical tasks like checking engine oil levels, coolant levels, and batteries.
- Conduct regular vehicle inspections to make sure everything is in working condition.
- Help transport vehicles to and from the mechanic shop when needed.
- Thoroughly clean and maintain all fleet vehicles, inside and out.
- Keep accurate records of all work performed on vehicles.
- Sweep and clean the garage area to maintain a safe, organized workspace.
Custodial and Office Cleaning:
- Empty trash from all common areas throughout the office.
- Vacuum, mop, and dust offices to keep them presentable.
- Clean and disinfect both restrooms, including toilets and sinks.
- Restock disposables like soap and paper products in restrooms.
- Perform light maintenance tasks around the office as needed.
- Take on other custodial and janitorial tasks as directed by Management.
What We’re Looking For
Essential Requirements:
- Must be at least 25 years of age.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean DMV driving record printout covering the last 3 years.
- Ability to successfully pass required DOT Drug and alcohol screenings. Important: DOT regulations do NOT allow the use of THC. If you use marijuana in any form, you will not pass the screening.
- Reliable transportation to get to and from work, and dependable contact information so we can reach you.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen, permanent resident, or possess a valid work permit.
- Availability for various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to drive larger vehicles with confidence and safety.
- General knowledge of vehicle mechanics enough to check oil levels, coolant, batteries, and handle basic tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting and moving heavy items.
- Friendly and helpful attitude toward office staff and other employees—we work as a team here.
What You’ll Get
- $15.00 per hour for your time and effort.
- Expected hours: 20-30 per week a solid part-time schedule with room for more.
