Key Responsibilities
As a vital member of our operations team, you will ensure our warehouse runs like clockwork. Your core duties will include:
- Efficiently unloading incoming deliveries, checking quantities, and verifying goods against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Accurately picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for dispatch, ensuring every shipment is correct and on time.
- Operating warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to move, store, and retrieve stock safely.
- Sorting, labelling, and organising inventory in designated locations to maintain an efficient and accessible warehouse.
- Performing regular stocktakes and updating inventory records in our system to ensure accuracy.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and hazard-free work environment, adhering to all company and workplace health and safety procedures.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Proven, hands-on experience in a warehouse or similar logistics environment.
- A valid forklift licence is essential.
- The physical capability to perform manual tasks, including lifting and moving stock, and standing for extended periods.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced setting.
- A reliable, can-do attitude and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with inventory management software or systems is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.
