Key Responsibilities
In this active role, you will be essential to our daily workflow. Your key duties will include:
- Safely and accurately picking, assembling, and preparing customer orders for delivery.
- Efficiently unloading incoming supplier trucks and carefully placing inventory in the warehouse.
- Assisting our customers by loading completed orders onto their vehicles.
- Processing receiving documents and managing the restocking of customer returns.
- Helping maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment for everyone.
- Conducting regular inventory counts to ensure accuracy.
Qualifications
We are looking for a team player who is ready to contribute from day one. The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of one year of experience in a warehouse environment.
- The physical ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally handle items up to 85 lbs, with bending and reaching throughout your shift.
- Your own steel-toed safety boots are required.
- Certification on a Counterbalance Forklift is a strong asset.
- Knowledge of building materials and previous receiving experience are preferred but not essential.
