Key Responsibilities
As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for the upkeep of our wastewater and facility systems. Your duties will include:
- Assisting with preventive maintenance on wastewater treatment systems and related equipment.
- Breaking down, repairing, and replacing pumps and other mechanical components.
- Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing low voltage instrumentation such as D.O. probes, pH meters, and level transducers.
- Wiring motors, lights, and switches; replacing and aligning belts on motors and blowers.
- Maintaining accurate logs for both maintenance activities and wastewater treatment operations.
- Conducting basic laboratory analyses and performing necessary calculations.
- Performing general industrial maintenance and repairs as needed.
Qualifications
We are seeking a candidate with practical experience and a willingness to learn. The ideal candidate will have:
- Direct experience operating and maintaining wastewater treatment systems.
- Industrial maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
- Electrical wiring experience is a significant advantage.
- Welding experience is a plus.
- The ability to read logs, follow procedures, and perform basic calculations.
- A strong focus on safety and attention to detail.
