Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be the operator and guardian of our robotic welding process, ensuring top-tier quality and efficiency. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Setting up, operating, and performing routine maintenance on robotic welding cells, including programming paths and adjusting welding parameters.
• Loading and unloading materials, positioning fixtures, and clamping parts according to detailed blueprints and work instructions.
• Visually inspecting welds for quality, checking for proper penetration, bead consistency, and dimensional accuracy.
• Monitoring the welding process, diagnosing minor issues, and performing troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Strictly adhering to all safety protocols and maintaining a clean, organized work area.
• Accurately documenting work performed and collaborating proactively with team leads and other departments.

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate who combines technical skill with a strong work ethic. The ideal profile includes:

• Prior hands-on experience with manual or semi-automatic welding processes (MIG or TIG).
• Familiarity with robotic programming software; basic knowledge for modifying existing programs is required.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, excellent attention to detail, and basic math skills.
• The physical stamina for a plant environment, including lifting up to 50 lbs (with assistance) and performing a range of motions.
• A self-driven, problem-solving attitude and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
