Key Responsibilities
In this active assembly role, you will be essential to our production line. Your key duties will include:
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, production drawings, and written specifications to assemble door panels, trusses, and modular housing components accurately.
- Operating a variety of tools and equipment, including power tools, pneumatic devices, overhead cranes, and precision measuring instruments.
- Inspecting wood products and assembled parts to ensure they meet quality standards, marking any defective items for repair.
- Working efficiently on an assembly line in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Maintaining a safe, organized workspace and following all safety protocols.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Authorization to work in Canada and live near the job location.
- Physical capability to handle heavy loads (up to 23 kg 50 lbs), stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and attention to detail.
- A reliable, organized, and team-oriented attitude.
- Your own steel-toed safety boots (other PPE provided).
- Own transportation to and from work.
- Experience in assembly, truss manufacturing, or a similar hands-on role is an asset but not required (1–7 months experience is acceptable; training provided).
